Recognition & validity
Is the certification valid in my country?
It is a globally valid certificate of completion used by graduates across 130+ countries. It certifies your training with Therapist University — it is not a government license. Psychoanalysis is largely unregulated in most jurisdictions; see Recognition & Validity for the honest specifics.
Is this a license to practice clinical therapy?
No. It is a completion-based professional certification, not a state-issued license to practice regulated clinical psychotherapy. Where a license is required for a regulated activity, our certification does not replace it.
Is Therapist University accredited?
No — we are not CHEA- or US Department of Education-accredited and do not award academic degrees or transfer credit. We provide professional formation and certification in psychoanalysis, and we say so plainly.
Can someone verify my credential?
Yes. Every graduate is entered into our professional register and can be confirmed through public credential verification.

What is the practitioner ID / badge?
An official, verifiable mark of your standing that you can show clients and display in your practice, tied to your register entry.

How does online study work?
Everything is fully online and self-paced. Short, focused lessons work on any device, so you can study on your own schedule with no cohorts or deadlines.
How much does it cost?
Individual specializations are $297 each, including the certificate, register entry, and practitioner ID. The 12-in-1 International Package and the Complete Training are available on the Pricing page.
Do you offer a refund?
Yes — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full terms, including the conditions under which a certificate or register entry may be revoked if a purchase is refunded.
Are there scholarships or study credits?
